Evening Prayer: When You Need Forgiveness

No one gets through life without moments they wish they could rewrite. God isn’t surprised by your flaws — He restores, not rejects.

Lord,

I bring You the things I regret.
The words I wish I hadn’t said.
The choices I wish I’d made differently.

Wash me clean from guilt.
Heal me where shame has settled.
Teach me to walk forward without carrying the past. Amen.

Forgiveness frees you from yesterday so you can live today.

My mistakes aren’t the final word.
Grace always has the last say.

Peter denied Jesus three times — and Jesus still restored him (John 21:15–19).
Redemption is always possible.
