Dear Friend,
Hard chapters feel like endings. When you are in the middle of pain or loss or uncertainty, it can seem like this is all your story will ever be. But this is a chapter โ and the Author of your story has not written the final page.
๐๏ธ Prayer of the Day
Heavenly Father,
This chapter has been hard. Harder than I expected. And sometimes hard chapters feel permanent โ like this is just who I am now and this is just how life will be. I am tempted to close the book or stop expecting anything better.
Remind me that this is a chapter, not the end. That the arc of my story is in Your hands, and You are not a God of dead ends. What feels like a conclusion is often a turning point. Give me the faith to keep reading โ to keep showing up for the next page โ even when the current one is painful. In Jesus' name, Amen.
๐ก Why This Prayer Matters
When we are suffering, our brain convinces us the current state is permanent. But every person who has come through a hard season will tell you: it was a chapter. It passed. And what came after was often more beautiful than they thought possible.
๐ช Thoughts Before Sleep
If you could look back on this current season from five years in the future, what might you see that you cannot see now? What might this chapter be building in you?
