Dear Friend,

Before your head hits the pillow… before the worries try to follow you into tomorrow… pause.

This day is done.

God was with you in it — and He’ll be with you in the next.

Let this prayer be the last thing on your lips, so peace can be the first thing in your rest.

🕊️ Prayer of the Day

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for getting me through this day.

I release every worry, every fear, and every thought I can’t control.

What’s unfinished — I place in Your hands.

What’s unknown — I trust to Your timing.

What’s overwhelming — I give back to Your peace.

Wrap me in stillness tonight.

Let my room be filled with quiet.

Let my body soften, my breath slow, and my spirit rest.

I choose peace over pressure.

Trust over tension.

Sleep over striving.

Because You are here.

And that is enough.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

💡 Why This Prayer Matters

This prayer helps you transition from doing to resting — with intention.

God doesn’t just meet you in battle — He meets you in bedtime.

You weren’t meant to carry the day into the dark.

You were meant to release it and rest in Him.

🪞 Thoughts Before Sleep

Let tonight be soft.

Not everything needs to be solved before you sleep.

Sometimes the holiest thing you can do is rest — fully, freely, safely.

You are not behind. You are not alone.

You are deeply held — even in dreams.

📖 Bible Story

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

— Psalm 4:8

Why this verse matters:

This verse is a bedtime blessing.

It gives permission to stop striving and simply be.

You don’t have to earn rest — it’s a gift.

And when God says you’re safe, you can sleep like it.
