Dear Friend,
Healing is rarely a moment โ it's a journey. And sometimes in the middle of that journey, it feels like you've been carrying this wound forever and you'll never be fully free of it. God is still working. The process is not finished.
๐๏ธ Prayer of the Day
Heavenly Father,
Some days it feels like I should be further along in my healing than I am. Like I've done the work, prayed the prayers, walked through the process โ and yet the wound still surfaces. And I get discouraged by my own lack of progress.
Remind me that healing is not linear. That setbacks are not failures. That even the slow and incomplete healing I've experienced is evidence of Your faithfulness at work. You are not done with me. The healing You started when I first brought this to You is still in progress. I don't have to arrive by a certain date โ I just have to keep walking with You toward wholeness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
๐ก Why This Prayer Matters
We often give up on healing because it takes longer than expected or because we experience setbacks. But healing is a process โ not a destination we arrive at once and for all. God is patient and persistent in the work He does in us.
๐ช Thoughts Before Sleep
In what area of your life can you see that God has already healed you, even partially? How does that evidence of His work encourage you for what is still in progress?
๐ Bible Story
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." โ Psalm 147:3
