Heavenly Father,
I want to trust You. I really do. But tonight, the gap between what I hoped for and what I see is wide, and I am struggling to believe that You have this. I don't say that to be faithless — I say it because I want to be honest with You rather than perform a trust I don't fully feel.
Grow my trust, Lord. Not by giving me all the answers, but by giving me more of You. Remind me of the times You came through when I couldn't see how. Help me hold my questions and my faith in the same hand. And let tonight be the beginning of a deeper, more honest trust. In Jesus' name, Amen.
