The unknown has a particular kind of weight. You don't know what is coming — in your health, your family, your finances, your future — and that not-knowing keeps your heart on high alert. Tonight's prayer is for the peace that doesn't require certainty.

Heavenly Father,
I am scared of what's coming. I don't know what tomorrow holds, and that uncertainty sits heavily on me. I try to plan and prepare, but no amount of planning can guarantee the future. And when I face the limits of my own control, I feel afraid.
You know what is coming. Every moment I am scared of has already been held in Your hands before it reaches me. Prepare me for what is ahead — and prepare my heart to trust You through it, whatever it is. I don't need certainty. I need You. And You have promised to never leave. Let that be enough tonight. In Jesus' name, Amen.
