Discernment Over Emotion – Always

Dear Friend,

Emotions are loud — but discernment is wise.

You may feel pressure, excitement, or even fear… but not everything that feels good is good.

That’s why God gave you spiritual discernment — to see beyond the surface.

This prayer helps you pause, filter your feelings, and move with wisdom.

Heavenly Father,

When emotions cloud my vision, give me discernment.

Don’t let me be ruled by temporary feelings or fleeting urges.

Anchor me in truth — not just reaction.

Help me pause long enough to hear Your whisper

and choose what aligns with wisdom, not impulse.

Amen.

Because emotions can scream — but God speaks in stillness.

Discernment protects your future from a moment’s decision.

And when you ask for it, He gives it freely.

Not every strong emotion is a sign.

Sometimes the truest direction feels quiet — and that’s where God speaks.
