A Delay Is Still Direction

Dear Friend,

It’s easy to feel discouraged when progress pauses.

But delays aren’t denials — they’re divine redirections.

God isn’t late. He’s intentional.

This prayer will help you trust the space between where you are and where you’re going.

Heavenly Father,

I don’t want to rush ahead or fall behind —

I want to walk in step with You.

When things take longer than expected, help me stay steady.

When doors don’t open, help me trust that You’re closing them with purpose.

Redirect my impatience into trust.

Help me see that a pause can be protection — a delay, divine direction.

Even when I don’t understand the timing,

I choose to believe You’re aligning every step with something better than I imagined.

Amen.

Delays can make us doubt ourselves or God’s plan.

But often, they’re signs of deeper preparation —

a redirection that leads to the right door, not just the fast one.

You’re not late. You’re not lost.

You’re just being led — moment by moment, step by step.
