Dear heart,
Being hurt can teach you to build walls. God understands why they’re there. He isn’t demanding that you tear them down overnight. With patience and love, He can show your heart that safety, kindness, and trustworthy love still exist.

Heavenly Father,heal the places where disappointment has made me afraid to trust. Give me wisdom without making my heart hard. Teach me to recognize what is good, safe, and genuine, and slowly restore the hope I thought I had lost.
