Lord, tonight I bring You the hurt I rarely talk about.
The part of my story I keep hidden.
The feelings I have learned to carry quietly.
You already know every detail.
You know why it hurts and why sometimes I pretend it does not.
Please enter that hidden place with Your tenderness.
I do not need to explain everything perfectly to You.
I do not need the right words.
Simply sit with my heart tonight.
Bring comfort where there has been silence and healing where there has been pain.
Remind me that nothing I carry privately is invisible to You.
Hold what I cannot yet speak about, and let me sleep knowing my deepest heart is safe with You.
