Lord, tonight I do not come asking for answers or miracles.
I simply need to feel Your love close to me.
There are places in my heart that feel tender, lonely, and tired from trying to be strong.
Please come close to those places.
Wrap me in the kind of love that asks nothing from me.
Remind me that I do not have to earn Your tenderness, prove my worth, or become better before I can be held by You.
You know every imperfect part of me, and still You call me beloved.
Let that truth sink deeper than every insecurity I have carried.
Quiet the voice that tells me I am difficult to love.
Replace it with the gentle assurance that I am known, wanted, and cherished by You.
As I close my eyes tonight, hold my heart as tenderly as a mother holds a sleepy child.
Let me rest without fear, knowing that Your love will remain beside me through every hour of the night.
