You see what I cannot, and You walk where I have not yet gone.
I give You the anxious pictures in my mind, the worst-case stories I keep rehearsing.
Replace them with Your truth and Your steady love.
Hold my fears gently and do not let them rule me.
Go ahead of me and prepare what I need.
Protect me from what would harm me.
Guide me toward what will grow me.
Let me sleep without trying to control what I cannot predict.
I place my future into Your faithful hands.
