Evening Prayer: When You’re Carrying Regret

🧩 Grace Rewrites

The past doesn’t get the final word.

🕊️ Prayer of the Day

Lord, I bring You the choices I wish I could undo.
The words I regret, the paths I wish I had taken, the moments I replay.
Redeem what feels wasted and broken.
Show me how even my mistakes can be transformed.
Release me from punishing myself for what You have already forgiven.
Wrap Your grace around my past.
Restore my heart.
Amen.

💡 Why This Prayer Matters

Regret traps you in a story God already moved past.

🪞 Thoughts Before Sleep

I don’t have to relive what God has already forgiven.
My worst chapters do not cancel the ending.
Growth often comes from mistakes I’d rather forget.
Tonight I stop punishing myself.

📖 Bible Story

Peter denied Jesus three times — yet became the foundation of the church.
God didn’t erase his failure — He repurposed it.
Scripture shows redemption isn’t the removal of the past, but the transformation of it.
