Evening Prayer: Light in the Dark

Darkness can’t erase the light — it only makes it more visible.

🕊️ Prayer of the Day

Lord, tonight I can’t see much ahead of me.
The future feels blurry, my plans uncertain.
But You said even darkness is as light to You.
So let me rest in the truth that I don’t have to see what You already see.
Guide me, even one small step at a time.
And if I wake anxious, remind me that You’re already there — in tomorrow,
in every unseen hour, in every shadow I fear. Amen.

💡 Why This Prayer Matters

Faith begins where visibility ends.

🪞 Thoughts Before Sleep

I used to think peace meant clarity.
Now I know it’s trust.
I close my eyes not because I understand the path,
but because I trust the One who walks it with me.
He sees the details I can’t.
And in that unseen place, hope is born.

📖 Bible Story

When Israel walked through the wilderness,
a pillar of fire guided them through the night — a visible sign that God sees in the dark (Exodus 13:21–22).
The same fire still leads, though now it burns inside us.
