Evening Prayer: Strength in Weakness

We don’t like weakness — yet God’s strength is most visible in our fragile places.

🕊️ Prayer of the Day

Lord, I often feel too weak for the weight of my responsibilities.
I stumble, I doubt, I fail.
But You say that Your power is made perfect in weakness.
Fill my emptiness with Your strength.
Remind me that my weakness is not a wall, but a doorway to You. Amen.

💡 Why This Prayer Matters

Weakness is not the end of the story — it’s the starting point of God’s power.

🪞 Thoughts Before Sleep

My weakness isn’t shameful when it drives me closer to God. His grace covers my insufficiency. Where I lack, He supplies. Where I fail, He redeems. Tonight, I can rest knowing I don’t have to be enough, because He always is. Tomorrow doesn’t depend on my fragile strength, but on His unshakable power.

📖 Bible Story

Paul pleaded three times for God to remove his “thorn in the flesh,” but God replied, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Paul’s weakness became a testimony of God’s strength (2 Corinthians 12:7–10, ESV).
