Evening Prayer: Strength in Weakness

Some evenings we feel spent — like there’s nothing left inside. But God’s power shows up exactly where our strength ends.

🕊️ Prayer of the Day

Lord, I admit my weakness tonight.

My energy fails, my plans fall short, and my courage runs out.

Yet You say Your grace is sufficient and Your power is made perfect in weakness.

Teach me not to despise these fragile moments, but to welcome Your strength.

Lift me when I cannot lift myself.

Fill my empty hands with Your presence.

Let my weakness point to Your glory, and may I rest in Your unfailing care. Amen.

💡 Why This Prayer Matters

The world tells us strength means control. God says strength is surrender — because He carries what we cannot.

🪞 Thoughts Before Sleep

Weakness is not failure — it’s the door where God enters.

📖 Bible Story

Paul begged God three times to remove his “thorn in the flesh.” But God answered: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Paul then declared, “When I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:7–10, ESV).
