Obedience is rarely easy. But peace comes when we follow God’s call, even when it costs.
🕊️ Prayer of the Day
Lord, give me courage to walk in obedience.
When fear whispers “stay,” let Your Spirit push me forward.
When I don’t see the outcome, help me trust the One who holds it.
Make me bold in faith and humble in heart.
Tonight I lay down excuses and ask for strength to obey. Amen.
💡 Why This Prayer Matters
True peace comes not from comfort, but from obedience.
🪞 Thoughts Before Sleep
Obedience may feel costly, but disobedience costs far more.
📖 Bible Story
When God called Jonah to go to Nineveh, he ran in the opposite direction, boarding a ship to Tarshish. A violent storm arose, and Jonah was thrown into the sea, swallowed by a great fish. From the belly of the fish, he prayed, and God heard. Jonah was delivered and finally went to Nineveh, proclaiming God’s message. The people repented, and God spared the city. Jonah’s story reminds us that obedience may feel terrifying, but God’s purposes are always greater than our fear. (Jonah 1–3, ESV).
